So happy it's my last kid. So dirty. Just found pubs in the shower. The shower for new mom's flows onto the wall and not into the shower. There's 3 people on the whole floor and they put them all in the same area. Spread them out so mom's can sleep a little and not be woken up by all other babies. Ordered a TV and it never showed. Good thing the nurses and doctors are nice.
My main gripe with this hospital is the incredible incompetence of its administration, which may be passable in the operation of what I don't know but is extremely dangerous and unethical when people's lives are on the line. My family has spent the last two months trying to make sense of the misinformation/lack of information regarding the care of my father. The hospital administration operates as though the lives of the elderly does not matter and it pains me immensely that this is the environment my father is living in during his remaining time.Fondation Lakeshore - I noticed you asked the poster of the only five star review that the lakeshore has received to tell their story. I would like to express my sincere dissatisfaction in how the emergency room care is being taken care of. My wife has been waiting for 16 hours now spanning over two days without any word of progress. In fact, yesterday first we were told we cannot leave by the nurses then we were told we can leave but be back today at 730am. Reason for this- because when I asked what was going on with my wifes care- the head nurse did not like to be asked and told the doctor to see my wife at a later time. Basically because I asked questions ( without being rude or loud) I was told by the Doctor in charge that my wife was placed at a lower spot in the line. My wife and I could not believe the blatant lack of empathy and caring by the Doctors. We were flabbergasted at the fact that after waiting so long we were told to go home because they could not do anything for her anymore. I highly recommend anyone to NOT go to this hospital- the entire team should be let go and replaced with professionals that actually care about their Oath to society.Just to let you know- still waiting without a word from anybody!!!! HORRIBLE!!!!!
It would be really nice if ANYONE working here had any idea what anyone else was doing. I spent no less than 18 hours in the emergency there with my 95 year old grandmother. From Sunday night til Monday evening. I had to keep the staff apprised of what procedures had been done and when my grandma needed anything. They very seldom even checked in on her. And no one seemed to know what anyone else had done with her already. They left a full bedpan under her for an hour even with my persistently asking for someone to come remove it. I have too many complaints to list here. I will NEVER go back to this hospital. This would be a 1 star review if not for the amazing Dr. Bacon, and maybe 2 exceptionally compassionate nurses among the dozen or so who saw to her.
There are many evil and inhumane so-called professionals in this hospital. May God help them. However, there are also VERY GOOD people and, unlike the bitter ones, they will always be remembered.
