My two sons, 7 and 9, have been taking weekly piano lessons here for 3 years, and added guitar and drums over a year ago. It's such a friendly atmosphere and the kids each have two fabulous teachers. The owner, Richard, is always available, friendly and accommodating. The Christmas and summer concerts are highlights in our year. We have recommended this school to several of the kids' friends who've subsequently started lessons too.We're so happy at the WICM!
The piano teacher is very good and the staff is very nice but there are a few thing I dont like. They ask you to pay for two months classes all at once and they dont want you to use your credit card. These things I can accept but they have a policy that you can only cancel classes TWO times in a whole year if you want them rescheduled and you must give them 24hrs advanced notice. After that, no matter what happens, you can cancel your classes but they wont reschedule it. I find this policy very unreasonable. We should be allowed more than two times when there are compelling reasons.This is an update: again the teacher and the staff are very good but I forgot to mention that the rooms are not sound proof. My sons piano class is at the same time with a singing class next door and you can imagine the interference!
