Not much for Decor or Ambiance, but the best pizza we've found in Montreal thus far.
Old school, thick greasy style pizza that is absolutely delicious. Their pizza sauce is so tasty. Definitely one of the best pizza spots in Montreal. If you're not from the area, definitely worth the drive if you're a pizza lover.
First and last time me and my partner went their. Staff was rude. And the food disgusting. The pizza looked and tastes like something from a truck stop. And ontop of if , it made both of us sick due to insane amount of grease ! Definitely not fresh and definitly not Italian pizza.
Awesome greasy style pizza! This isn't an "authentic" wood fired Italian style pizza place and it isn't trying to be. Lots of cheese, crust and toppings but it works so well. Crust is crispy on the outside but soft on the inside and the sauce is excellent! My go to here in the deluxe pizza. They also serve pasta, lasagna and subs. They used to deliver but now it's unfortunately only dine in or carry out.
I am changing my rating (from 4 stars) after a very disappointing meal tonight. My mother wanted pizza for her birthday. We ordered 2 pies from Gigi's. We were told that they would be ready in 20 minutes. Since they neither deliver nor accept credit cards, I drove over there which took about 20 minutes. I went to pay but was short on cash, and their ATM was out of order. They directed me "next door", which in fact turned out to be 3 doors away after 2 failed attempts to find the atm "next door". Then when I came to pay, much to my surprise and puzzlement, they tried to get a tip out of me! For no service at all! I took my pies and left.I arrived at my destination about 20 minutes later to serve out what turned out to be cold pizza with mostly congealed cheese. I should have checked as soon as I got the pies, but I didn't. They must have been sitting on the counter at Gigi's at least 10 minutes before I picked them up.All in all a very poor experience which I will not repeat.
